Global Development Opportunities for Leaders Working in Arts, Screen, and Creative Sectors

ICE invites you to SPLICE

International Creative Entrepreneurs (ICE) will be holding SPLICE at The Whisky Bond on Thursday 14 November 2013 at 5:30pm.

SPLICE is the sharing event which marks the close of the second year of International Creative Entrepreneurs, both funded by Creative Scotland.

What is SPLICE?

SPLICE will be an opportunity to Share, Participate and Learn about ICE at our end of programme event; it’s a celebration, a chance to hear from those that have taken part and to meet the participants and those involved with the programme. It’ll splice together all these elements in an informal and relaxed environment with some food, some drink and some interesting people.

Our main speakers will be the five participants in the second year of ICE. AmbleDouglasJackJanis and Marianne will be asked to share and reflect on their experiences in China, Turkey and Brazil whilst on placement; what were their biggest challenges, the lessons they learned and what nuggets of knowledge do they have to pass on to the wider creative community here in Scotland?

We’ll revisit some of the placements from the first year of ICE, which saw our cohort working in India, Australia, South Africa and Hong Kong, to see how their experiences have affected their work now.

Refreshments will be provided and a guest list sent out in advance.

We’d love to have everyone that wants to attend but spaces are limited. Feel free to extend this invite to anyone you may wish to bring with you but please book a space in advance here.

We look forward to seeing you there,

The ICE Team
