Global Development Opportunities for Leaders Working in Arts, Screen, and Creative Sectors

UK Nigeria Creative Partnership – Apply now

The British Council and New World Nigeria are looking for innovative creative and digital practitioners working in the UK and/or Nigeria’s film/TV, fashion, music or digital media sectors to participate in the UK-Nigeria Creative Partnership programme and seminar on 4, 5 and 6 August 2012.

The UK-Nigeria Creative Partnership – three day programme

4 and 5 August 2012

As part of the larger London 2012 Nigeria House programme, creative and digital practitioners will be brought together to develop innovative ways of collaborating and making stronger market linkages through a team-driven solutions focused hack event facilitated by Hatch Events. Participants will benefit from being at the forefront of a wider business to business platform – gaining access to industry leaders, creative investment communities, and inspiring routes into regional and international markets.

6 August 2012

Participants will be invited to share their challenges and solutions at a wide reaching symposium of UK and Nigeria-based creative practitioners, businesses, consultants, investors and policymakers. Key themes will be addressed through panel-based discussions, including:

  • Developing partnerships and new models of working between UK and Nigeria based creative and digital practitioners.
  • Expanding the potential and impact digital technology has in sustaining links between key sectors in the global creative economy.

There are limited places for this programme, and therefore if you would like to be a programme participant you will need to complete an application form, which you can find here.

To book a place to the symposium on 6 August, please email cce@britishcouncil.org to register your interest.
